An interactive and collaborative training that weaves leadership skills with communication skills, brain science with empathetic communication and emphasizes the importance of both personal and professional relationships in our lives. Participants will learn practical skills such as: asking powerful questions, designing relationships, setting healthy boundaries, reflective listening, giving and receiving feedback, identifying feelings and needs, and problem solving.
This training is anchored in community building, equity, skills practice and personal and professional development. Through the use of data, videos, non-violent communication techniques and group discussions, information is presented in an engaging format and skills are designed for practical, accessible, and immediate implementation.
Purpose: The purpose of this training is: to improve communication in all aspects of life; to foster networks of direct, clear, kind and empathetic communication where needs and feelings are valued, shared and heard; to prevent communication ruptures and harm when possible; to build community, trust, health and support.
